Infant sizes are labeled by age in months: 3M, 6M, 9M, 12M, 18M, 24M. They are sized more by length than by weight, and babies grow through them fast — a 3M creeper is a first-three-months garment, not a “fits until 3 months at any size” promise. If your baby is between month sizes, size up; a slightly big onesie still photographs beautifully, a too-small one does not snap. A creeper bought in the next month size up gets worn as a loose tee first and a proper onesie later; nothing about a team logo expires between seasons. Buy for the age the baby will be when the games you care about are played — a December baby in a 3M in September is a 6M by the playoffs.
