MLB Toddler Jerseys 2T, 3T, 4T & Preschool 4, 5, 6, 7

Baseball is a hand-me-down sport: the team you grow up with usually picks you before you can walk. This page collects MLB jerseys and tees in the sizes little kids actually wear — baby, toddler 2T, 3T and 4T, preschool 4, 5, 6 and 7, and youth — for all 30 clubs, with the sizing help parents ask for before a first trip to the ballpark.

MLB Kids Sizes, Age by Age

Baby. Baby MLB jerseys and creepers come in month sizes — 3M, 6M, 9M, 12M, 18M, 24M — with snap bottoms for the seventh-inning diaper change.

Toddler — 2T, 3T, 4T. Toddler MLB jerseys are button-front or pullover styles cut shorter and wider than big-kid sizes. The button-front look is baseball’s signature — it is also the easiest style to get over a toddler’s head, because you do not have to.

Preschool — 4, 5, 6, 7. Preschool MLB jerseys drop the T, lengthen the body, and are where player jerseys take over from plain team tees.

Youth — XS, S, M, L, XL. Youth baseball jerseys are full replica cuts, and preschool and youth custom MLB jerseys add your child’s name and number.

Team and Player Pages for Little Baseball Fans

Chicago is the deepest baseball corner of this site. Start with baby Chicago Cubs onesies and tees, move up to toddler Cubs jerseys and hoodies, and when your kid picks a favorite player, the Pete Crow-Armstrong kids jerseys page covers PCA in toddler, preschool and youth sizes.

On the coasts: the Shohei Ohtani kids jersey page collects his Dodgers jerseys and tees from baby through youth, and our Los Angeles baby onesie post covers the littlest Dodgers fans. In New York, the Yankees kids jersey page includes custom any-player jerseys in 2T, 3T, 4T and youth S through XL. And in San Diego, pair the Padres baby onesie page with Fernando Tatis Jr. jerseys for kids as they grow.

Shop MLB Kids Gear in Your Size

MLB toddler jerseys in 2T, 3T, and 4T are the heart of this shop section, with preschool sizes 4, 5, 6, and 7 right alongside them for growing fans. Start with your child’s size below, then pick a team, and you will find jerseys made for first ballgames and everyday wear.

A First Jersey for a First Ballgame

Toddler baseball gear peaks twice a year: Opening Day, and the first family trip to the park. A few things parents learn the first time: a button-front jersey doubles as a light jacket over a tee on a cold April night, which is why it outsells every other style in toddler sizes. Hats matter more in baseball than any other sport on this site — toddler ball caps in team colors are the single most-gifted add-on, because a 3-year-old who will not sit still for nine innings will absolutely wear the hat for all nine. And if your family’s team changed its name in the last few years — Cleveland is the Guardians now, and Oakland’s club is simply the Athletics — the kids departments above carry the current names and logos, so a new jersey will match what the team wears on the field today.

Every one of the 30 clubs has a kids range in these departments, from the Yankees and Dodgers down to the smallest-market teams. If your team is not one of the pages linked above, use the size links in the shop section and pick your club once you land — the size runs (baby months; 2T, 3T, 4T; preschool 4, 5, 6, 7; youth XS through XL) are the same across all 30.

Sizing Tips Before You Order

Ballpark layers matter. A toddler jersey worn over a hoodie in April needs the size up; the same child in a July tee does not. If you are buying for opening day rather than the dog days, order one size bigger than the chart says.

Button-front runs generous. Kids button-front jerseys are cut like the adult style — roomy through the body. Pullover tees and fashion jerseys run truer to the size number.

Between 4T and preschool 4? Choose the preschool 4 if your child is tall, the 4T if they are still in toddler proportions. The preschool cut is longer, and length is what kids outgrow first in a jersey.

General questions about ordering baby, toddler and youth jerseys are collected on our kids jersey FAQ page, and every league we cover is mapped from the Football Creepers home page.
